Privacy Policy

What ValuFai collects, stores, and processes today

Current practice, not a promise. This policy describes what the application actually collects and stores as of the date below. Where deletion or export tooling is not yet implemented, that is stated rather than assumed.

Information you provide

Portfolio information: names, descriptions, asset details (URLs, domains, repository and store links), financial records, revenue streams, liabilities, people, teams, capabilities, relationships, and evidence you submit while using the product.

Account and session information: the email address, hashed password, and display name you register with, plus session identifiers stored in browser cookies.

Public URL analysis

When you ask ValuFai to analyze a public URL or domain, ValuFai may fetch and inspect publicly accessible content associated with that URL to gather evidence (for example, pricing pages or public documentation). Only publicly available information is retrieved.

AI processing

Portfolio content may be sent to an AI provider (currently Cloudflare Workers AI) for classification, question selection, and narrative generation. AI is used only for assistive, non-numeric work. AI providers may process the content you submit in the course of providing the service.

Where data is stored

Data is stored in Cloudflare D1, a global SQLite-based database service, on Cloudflare infrastructure. Data may be replicated across Cloudflare regions for availability. No data is sold to third parties.

Cookies and sessions

ValuFai sets an HTTP-only session cookie to keep you signed in. Cookies are required for authenticated portfolio access.

Retention and deletion

Current reality: automated self-service export and deletion endpoints are not yet implemented. If you want your data removed, contact contact@valufai.com and we will handle the request manually. Demo accounts and their data may be removed at any time.

Third-party processors

Current third parties: Cloudflare (hosting, Workers, D1 storage, Workers AI, edge network). If additional processors are added, this policy will be updated before their use.

Children

ValuFai is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their information.
